Bill Dozier

I joined the Air Force after high school and was stationed at Hurlburt Field in Florida for the majority of my enlistment.  After 4 years I returned to Texas to begin college.  I began working at the Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) in 2005 as a student worker before joining the full time work force in 2007.  While I TEEX I have worked with the Urban Search and Rescue Division, Texas Task Force 1, and the Public Safety and Security Division.  As a member of TX-TF1, I’ve had the opportunity to support over 40 team deployments across the state.  Some of the more memorable events include:

  • Hurricane Dean (2007)
  • Hurricane Dolly (2008)
  • Hurricane Ike (2008)
  • Hurricane Alex (2010)

I joined Search Dog Network in 2007 as a ground team member and am currently training for Flanker/Navigator and Base Operations duties.  Since joining SDN I’ve deployed to searches in a number of locations including Temple, San Antonio, Dodd, Fredericksburg, Burleson County, Brazos County, and other areas of the state.
