Chris Gano

Chris GanoChris Gano grew up and lived most of his life in Oregon and Washington, primarily in northern Puget Sound and North Cascades area.

Chris Gano - CaveHe has been married to his beloved wife since 1991 and is father to a wonderful daughter.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and anything outdoors – rock concerts, shooting, fishing, hiking, hunting, camping, working on cars.

Chris and his family moved to Riesel Texas in 2006 where he is the Operations Manager for Super Genius Management Services and Databasaurus, the lead generation, data entry and research division of
Professional Sports Publications.

He originally got involved with search and rescue in 1984 as a member of Skagit County Search and Rescue.
After moving to Texas, he tried finding a search and rescue team similar to his previous group. This led him to joining Heart of Texas Search and Rescue and the Texas State Guard (Civil Affairs).

-Order of the Spur
-Recipient of the Adjutant General Individual Achievement Award (for a Search & Rescue Op)

-Honor Guard
-Color Guard

Through training in the State Guard, he was introduced to Search Dog Network and found the dedicated, high standard team he was looking for. Upon leaving the guard, he immediately joined Search Dog Network.

Chris became a member of Search Dog Network in July 2016.
For Search Dog Network, he is a Search Technician, Flanker/Navigator, Boat Operator and Ground Search Coordinator.
