CART GIS Project

Child Abduction Response Team (CART) Graphic Information System (GIS) project is being worked between Search Dog Network and the City of Bryan, GIS Department for the Brazos Valley CART.

The Goal is to determine how we can use technology to assist in the initial hours of a child abduction search which has moved into the recovery phase.

SDN CART SAR Profile

Deploy Ground and Canine Teams 100 to 300 feet from roadways adjacent to fields, vacent lots and other areas that might conceal a crime. Teams should be given specific assignments like searching every pullout to 300 feet along a county road. If there isn’t room to park, they don’t need to search the area.
